About the Role
We are looking for highly motivated Facilities Manager who will lead the strategic and day-to-day management of our facilities and property services across three sites. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement, asset optimisation, and cost-effective service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing facility operations, maintenance programs, essential services, utilities and site infrastructure.
- Developing and implementing asset management strategies and delivering facilities projects, including refurbishments, relocations, and fit-outs.
- Driving the ongoing enhancement of facilities systems and data management, including optimisation of the IFS ERP platform and maintenance planning processes.
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental, and building regulations, while managing risk, emergency preparedness, and incident response.
- Leading facilities budgeting, procurement, contractor management, and commercial negotiations to achieve value-for-money outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external service providers, landlords, and government agencies.
- Championing continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a high-performance culture, while providing facilities expertise and guidance across the business.
This role requires a proactive leader with strong operational, commercial, and stakeholder management skills, combined with a passion for improving facilities performance, asset reliability, and workplace environments.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in Facilities, Property, or Asset Management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in multi-site facilities management (industrial environment preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation.
- Proven financial management, budgeting capability and .
- Experience managing facilities projects and leases.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities/asset management systems.
Desirable
- Formal Asset Management training (ISO55001 aligned).
- Experience in aviation MRO or similar technical environment.
- Experience managing large or complex facilities portfolios.
- Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management capability.
- Knowledge of engineering operations and facilities best practices.
