Your next career opportunity
You will coordinate impactful marketing and events that showcase promot e rural health education, training and community partnerships.
You will craft accessible, culturally safe content that attracts students and strengthens engagement across rural communities.

What you will deliver:

Plan, create and deliver engaging marketing and communications content across digital, social and print channels.

Coordinate region al and rural health campaigns and events that enhance student engagement, partnerships and awareness of placement support and scholarships.

Collaborate with students, clinicians, academics and community partners to source stories and develop high-quality rural health content.

Apply health literacy, plain language and culturally safe principles to ensure accurate , accessible communications for diverse audiences.

Maintain web and social channels, support integrated content production, and assist broader marketing operations and reporting.

You may be a great fit if you :

Hold a relevant marketing or business qualification, or equivalent experience in marketing and event coordination.

Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills, building effective relationships with health services, community organisations and education partners.

Exhibit excellent communication, with proven ability to create targeted content across multiple channels.

Bring experience organising and managing large-scale events, including logistics , promotion and stakeholder coordination.

Understand or quickly learn rural health contexts, health literacy principles and culturally safe communication practices.

Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritising competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

You will join the Department of Rural Health, a vibrant team advancing health outcomes across regional communities.
The team delivers rural health training, student placements, research and community engagement in their regional footprint throug h the Going Rural Health program .
You will collaborate with passionate academic, clinical and professional colleagues committed to improving access to quality rural healthcare.
Together, you will strengthen partnerships with communities, health services and government, amplifying the impact of rural health initiatives.
