Our NSW region is entering an exciting phase of expansion, and we have created a new Retail Cluster Manager role to support the region's growth.
This is an opportunity to shape how customers experience the KOOKAÏ brand through the strength of your teams and the standards you set across your stores. From coaching Store Managers to driving commercial performance, your leadership will have a direct impact on the stores in your cluster and the broader success of the NSW region.
This is a hands-on, people-first role where you'll support Store Managers to achieve KPIs, build high-performing teams, and uphold KOOKAÏ's service culture. Reporting to the State Manager for NSW, you'll bring both strategic thinking and practical execution to every store in your cluster.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and develop high-performing teams with a focus on succession planning and leadership development
- Develop and maintain a harmonious, motivating work environment to maximise employee engagement and commitment
- Train, coach, and mentor Store and Assistant Managers using KOOKAÏ's in-house training programs and workshops
- Support recruitment across the region, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
- Guide, support and conduct performance discussions in line with company policies and procedures
- Coordinate stock management and product cycle counts to ensure operational accuracy
- Ensure store operational requirements are effectively completed and maintained
- Uphold KOOKAÏ's high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising
- Analyse sales trends, identify areas of opportunity and implement action plans to drive results
Achieve profit contribution, sales, and KPI targets within the region

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 4+ years' proven experience as a Cluster or Area Manager within fashion retail, overseeing a minimum of 4 stores
- A people-first approach with strong leadership and motivational skills
- Proven success in achieving sales, profit and KPI results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach with strong organisational and time management skills
- Financial acumen, including the ability to interpret P&L statements and sales reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and work with a sense of urgency
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment
- A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
