Join Our Team as a Remedial Massage Therapist!
We are looking for a passionate Remedial Massage Therapist to work alongside our team of 25 clinicians, dedicated to enhancing the lives of the Hunter community. This role is ideal for a high-performing and motivated individual looking to advance their career.
We are seeking therapists who:
- Are committed to excellence in Remedial Massage and have a passion for working with older adults.
- Apply an evidence-based approach to manual therapy and practice contemporary styles, no alternative therapies.
- Hold a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy or advanced qualifications, such as a Myotherapy degree. You must be accredited with the Association of Massage Therapists and be eligible to obtain registered provider numbers so your clients can claim health fund rebates.
- We will assist you to obtain a working with children check, NDIS worker screening check, criminal record check and CPR certificate.
- Thrive in a busy, stimulating team environment.
- Value collaboration with our high-performing team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and our existing long-term Remedial Massage Therapist.

The Role:
- Flexible hours from 20 to 37.5 per week to suit the right candidate.
- You will provide home-visit remedial massage services to older adults, across the Hunter region. Travel time is paid for, along with a KM car allowance and or a company car is provided. Your clients may present with muscle tension, musculoskeletal pain, osteoarthritis, and chronic pain. Your role will be to ease pain and assist clients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Knowledge of treating older clients is beneficial, but if you are new to this area, our team is here to help you learn how to treat older clients safely in their homes.
- You will be responsible for detailed treatment notes and reports to third-party referrers and compensation bodies.
Benefits:
- Annual salary package between $60,000 and $85,000 pro rata, based on experience and qualifications. Package includes a base salary plus bonuses and entitlements
- Equipment provided, including a laptop, mobile phone, uniform, and massage tools. Team members may opt for a company car or receive a kilometre pay allowance.
