The Office Pro-Vice Chancellor (Indigenous) provides strategic leadership to advance ECU’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander strategy, ensuring Indigenous leadership, knowledges, voices and aspirations are meaningfully embedded across the University.
About the Opportunity
Working within the Aboriginal Workforce Programs team, the Anti-Racism Project Coordinator supports the implementation and development of programs and initiatives focused on anti-racism, cultural inclusion and social cohesion at an institutional level. You will coordinate a diverse portfolio of projects that strengthen ECU’s capability to prevent and address racism experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, students and communities.
This is a dynamic and purpose-driven role that involves collaborating with stakeholders across the University, developing resources and guidance materials, and supporting meaningful reform. Your work will contribute to shaping policy, practice and systems that uphold ECU’s strategic commitments to equity, inclusion and Indigenous leadership.

About you

You will be able to demonstrate:
Understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and communities, with a strong commitment to advancing anti-racist practice.
Experience supporting the development and delivery of inclusion initiatives, with expertise in anti-racism, cultural inclusion and social cohesion.
Proven capability to coordinate projects and deliver evidence-based initiatives within agreed timeframes in a complex environment.
Experience collaborating effectively with a range of stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and contribute to informed decision-making to improve outcomes
