Located in beautiful Coromandel Valley with stunning views, Familypet Vet has been caring for animals in Adelaide’s south-east for over 34 years. Our dedicated and knowledgeable team provides high-quality care by investing in ongoing training and utilizing the latest technology such as digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and IDEXX laboratory machines. We offer in-house progesterone blood testing and are supported by a loyal client base. Plus, we have the added charm of our clinic cat, Shrimp!
The Opportunity
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive, tight-knit team. We are offering a flexible arrangement, either full-time or part-time position (approx. 4 days per week, and occasionally Saturdays) depending on the right candidate.

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting veterinarians across all aspects of general practice nursing (consults, surgery, hospital care)

Delivering high standards of patient and customer care

Monitoring anaesthesia and handling patient recovery

Performing minor procedures and maintaining practice hygiene

Assisting with reception and administrative tasks when needed
About You:

Certificate IV in Vet Nursing (preferred, but candidates with solid in-clinic experience will be considered)

3+ years of experience in a veterinary nursing role

High standard of patient care, excellent animal handling skills, and strong client service orientation

Good time management skills, initiative, and a collaborative team attitude

Knowledge of Ezyvet is an advantage, but not essential
