We're looking for a dedicated Irrigation Controller (also known as an Irrigation Manager) for one of our Almond Orchards.

The Opportunity:
As an Irrigation Controller, working out of our Menegazzo Orchard, you'll play a pivotal role in optimising tree growth and production. This role involves overseeing daily irrigation operations, implementing irrigation programs, and maintaining irrigation equipment and infrastructure. Specifically, this role is responsible to:
- Train and lead a team of Irrigation Orchard Technicians and one Irrigation Leading Hand to ensure effective irrigation;
- Collaborate with contractors to complete work on time and within scope;
- Get hands-on in the field when require including troubleshooting systems, fixing leak issues and ensuring efficient water utilisation;
- Maintain irrigation equipment and coordinate repairs; and
- Identify and address any irrigation issues promptly.
What We're Looking For:
An Irrigation leader with a strong understanding of drip irrigation systems and their design. In addition, our ideal candidate will have:
- Resilience and drive to excel throughout extended seasons;
- Business acumen or a willingness to learn; and
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to foster a high-performance team culture;
- Irrigation and/or horticulture qualification; and
- At least three (3) years of relevant employment experience.
