The Magnus Clinic is a new Australian telehealth practice in men's health, and we're seeking an AHPRA-registered nurse to join our founding clinical team.
This is a flexible, fully remote role giving men across Australia access to hormone and testosterone optimisation, weight management, sexual health, performance and recovery, and peptide therapy. We partner with licensed Australian compounding pharmacies, and every treatment sits behind a genuine clinical assessment by one of our doctors.
We're looking for a thorough, clinically confident nurse who's comfortable in a modern digital-health environment and interested in personalised, preventive care. Someone who takes real pride in getting the groundwork right.
The role
You're the first clinical contact a patient has with Magnus, and the quality of your work sets up everything that follows. You gather the clinical picture; our doctor makes the clinical decisions.
As a Magnus nurse, you'll:
- Conduct intake consultations — take a full history, document symptoms, goals and medications, and complete initial screening
- Arrange baseline pathology under our doctor's authorisation, and coordinate results back for their review
- Prepare each patient's file so the doctor has a complete, accurate picture before they consult
- Support patients through their treatment journey — education, expectations, follow-up coordination and ongoing check-ins
- Escalate anything clinically concerning promptly, through clear pathways
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Help refine our intake process and clinical workflows as the practice grows
This is not a prescribing role. All prescribing decisions, and each patient's initiating consultation, sit with our doctors.
How the engagement works
- Independent contractor with your own ABN
- Fully remote, anywhere in Australia
- Flexible hours — intake consultations can be scheduled around your availability
- Supportive setup: you're working directly alongside our doctor and founding team
- We're early stage and scaling deliberately — initial volume will be modest, and we grow when it's clinically sensible
Onboarding & support
You won't be starting cold. We provide structured onboarding across our systems, workflows, clinical protocols and documentation standards, and you'll work within a defined clinical governance framework with clear escalation pathways.
What you'll need
Essential
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with no conditions, undertakings or reprimands
- Strong clinical assessment and history-taking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication — you'll be the patient's main point of contact
- High standard of clinical documentation
- Comfortable working independently within clear protocols, and confident about when to escalate
- Professional indemnity insurance appropriate to your scope of practice
- A private, distraction-free environment suitable for telehealth
Preferred, but not essential
- Prior experience consulting via telehealth
- A clinical grounding in men's health — hormones, metabolic and weight management, sexual health, or preventive medicine
- Familiarity with compounded medicines and the pharmacies that prepare them
- Experience in private, virtual or membership-style practice
- An interest in peptide and regenerative medicine, and where this field is heading
