About the Role:
As the Program Manager People Strategy, you will play a pivotal organisation-wide role in designing and driving the execution of the Building and Plumbing Commission's (BPC) People Strategy. Sitting within the People Experience team, this role is responsible for translating the BPC's strategic priorities into a clear, integrated and evidence-based people agenda that builds leadership capability, strengthens culture, enhances employee experience and supports organisational performance.
Working closely with People & Culture SME's and senior business leaders, you will draw on insights to define priorities and design a cohesive people strategy and roadmap that aligns workforce outcomes with organisational goals. You will influence decision-making across the organisation, ensuring strategic investments are focused where they will have the greatest impact.

What we are looking for:

Significant experience in developing and delivering people, workforce, organisational development or transformation strategies within complex organisations.

Proven ability to translate organisational strategy into clear people priorities, initiatives and delivery roadmaps.

Strong expertise across key people strategy domains, including workforce planning, organisation design, leadership, culture and capability.

Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders to align priorities and drive strategic outcomes.

Strong analytical capability, with experience using workforce data and insights to inform decision-making.

Experience leading complex programs of work and integrating initiatives across multiple People & Culture disciplines.

Excellent communication and facilitation, with the ability to drive alignment across the organisation.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business or a related discipline.

The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's regulator for building and plumbing.
It supports the growing Victorian community through the developments of harms-based regulation that is proactive and informed by data and intelligence. The BPC regulates for better consumer outcomes and is committed to safety, compliance and buildings that last.
