About the opportunity
As a Transport Customer Support Coordinator, you'll play a key role in helping our transport network run smoothly by providing timely, accurate and customer-focused support to both internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Manager Transport Customer Support, you'll work closely with fellow coordinators, the Senior Transport Customer Support team, Transport Operations and customers to ensure transport bookings, equipment requests and enquiries are resolved efficiently and professionally.
Success in this role means delivering outstanding customer experiences, maintaining accurate operational information, meeting service level commitments, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our transport support services.
This is a full-time fixed-term opportunity, with an anticipated start in October and expected to conclude in January, with the potential for extension subject to business requirements. You'll join a supportive and collaborative team during a busy operational period, working with colleagues across a geographically dispersed network to deliver great outcomes for our customers. The role offers a hybrid working model with the flexibility to work from home up to three days per week.

Coordinate and schedule transport and equipment requests while ensuring timely and accurate execution of operational activities.

Collaborate with team members across multible locations, supporting one another to deliver excellent customer service during peak operational periods.

Respond to customer enquiries, escalations and complaints across phone, email and virtual channels, driving positive customer outcomes.

Maintain and update operational systems to support efficient service delivery and resolution of customer requests.

Identify service issues, escalate complex matters where required, and contribute ideas that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Have experience in a customer service and/or transport coordination environment.

Demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven setting.

Possess strong communication, problem-solving and system navigation skills, with experience using multiple systems simultaneously.
