Since commencing operations in 2024, the company has experienced signicant growth; to support this and meet increasing client demand, we are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team in Karratha, Western Australia, on a full-time basis.
As a Graphic Designer, your everyday responsibilities will include:
- Creating graphic design assets and elements for the company’s brand identity, including logos, letterheads, email signatures, promotional material, social media content and other marketing and communication collateral.
- Creating graphic design layouts and diagrams based on prior consultation with the clients and the analysis of their visual communication requirements.
- Creating brand identities and original artwork for new businesses, including elements like logos, colour palettes and typography, based on the client’s strategy and vision, and its later application across different projects and media.
- Preparing and optimising artwork files for small and large format printing, vinyl cutting, router cutting and other signage production processes.
- Managing client feedback, revisions and approvals throughout the design process.
- Following workflow processes and keeping an organised record of each client’s files to ensure all future work aligns with their brand guidelines across different projects and media.
- Proficient use of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator and Photoshop (essential). Experience with Adobe Lightroom & InDesign is desirable.
- Liaising with clients and suppliers.
Desirable Skills and Experience - but not mandatory:
- Knowledge and understanding of signage materials, production and installation requirements to assist clients and develop practical and effective visual communication solutions that are suitable for manufacture and application; ie. printed media, illuminated displays, rigid signage, vehicle graphics, marketing and events displays, etc.
- Knowledge of printing software (Roland and HP) and operation of large format printers, vinyl plotters and router cutting machines is highly desirable.
It is essential to hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualication in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field, or possess a minimum of five years’ relevant industry experience.
This is a full-time position offering a salary package between $85,000 and $105,000 plus superannuation, dependent on qualications and experience.
