About your role
As a Tradesperson - Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (HVAC), you will provide specialised maintenance and technical support to ensure Metro South Health facilities remain safe, functional and reliable.
In this role, you will:
Perform installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, plant and associated infrastructure
Undertake planned and corrective maintenance activities across Metro South Health facilities
Diagnose faults, investigate issues and implement effective solutions
Order materials and manage maintenance-related costs and procurement activities
Conduct ongoing condition assessments of assets and infrastructure
About you
You are a skilled and motivated HVAC tradesperson who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
You will demonstrate:
Extensive experience in the installation, maintenance and servicing of commercial HVAC systems and equipment
Strong technical skills and knowledge relevant to air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Ability to investigate problems, analyse information and implement practical solutions
Trade qualifications and licences required as listed in the role description
Willingness to participate in on-call arrangements and travel across Metro South Health facilities as required.
