About the role
As a Pastry Chef at The Meat & Wine Co, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality desserts with consistency and care. Working across the dessert section, you’ll assist in preparing, plating, and presenting a range of sweet dishes that complement our premium dining experience. Attention to detail, organisation, and pride in your work will be key to your success.
What we are looking for:
- 1+ years of relevant kitchen, pastry and/or dessert experience.
- A Certificate III Commercial Cookery Qualification/ Patisserie
- Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for food and a willingness to learn and develop
- Flexible availability across a 7-day rotating roster
