About the Role:
Our role is to lead and deliver strategic communications, engagement and media activities that support CHS in achieving its goals.
We are a dedicated, fun and hard-working team committed to supporting CHS staff to achieve business objectives and drive positive cultural change through effective, timely and progressive communication activities.
We work hard to ensure the Canberra community is well informed about government programs, policies and services, and has meaningful opportunities to help inform decision-making. We listen to the people of Canberra and represent their voice within government. We value continuous learning and will support you to grow your career.
In this role, you'll manage the day-to-day delivery of internal communications, including newsletters, intranet content, staff updates and engagement activities, helping to keep employees informed, connected and engaged across the organisation. Working closely with business areas, you'll turn what's happening across CHS into engaging content and meaningful opportunities that staff will want to read and participate in.
You'll write clear, plain-language content tailored to a busy, predominantly non-desk-based workforce. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Communication and Engagement, you'll be a key point of contact for internal communications requests, balancing multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.
