Menzies is seeking multiple reliable and motivated cleaners to join our team delivering services for hotel room cleaning within a heritage architecture building in Canberra, ACT.
As part of our growing operations, we are looking for team members who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service across our education sector contracts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive cleaning of common areas including offices, amenities and shared facilities
- Cleaning of student rooms, including linen services
- Waste collection, segregation and disposal in line with environmental practices
- Routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping and vacuuming
- Cleaning of amenities, external areas and walkways
- Adherence to Menzies procedures, safety and quality standards
- Responding to scheduled and ad hoc cleaning requests
We offer a range of roster options to suit your availability:
Monday to Friday
- Full-time: 6:00am – 2:00pm // 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Part-time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Weekend
- Part-time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Please include your availability and preferred working days/hours in your application.
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a focus on customer service
