What you will do with us:

Champion and apply the ROI framework and ROI Connect strategic planning approach across all client work, pitches, and market deliverables.

Develop and steward overarching strategic frameworks that define how key client’s global media investment works hardest, setting the strategic north star that all markets operate within.

Translate global strategy into actionable market playbooks in collaboration with lead market teams, ensuring each reflects local nuance while maintaining strategic coherence at a global level.

Work closely with the Global Business Director and Global Comms Planning Director to ensure strategic outputs are commercially grounded, client-ready, and integrated across disciplines.

Drive long-term strategic narratives for the account, going beyond campaign-level thinking to shape how the brand grows across markets over time.

Proactively bring forward market trends, cultural intelligence, and innovation opportunities

Challenge and stretch client thinking beyond the brief, applying rigorous marketing principles to uncover growth opportunities the client hasn't yet considered.

Develop work that delivers innovative and exciting media concepts that set new standards of excellence, with potential for PR and awards

Identify and nurture imaginative media solutions and innovations for client campaigns as well as wider business strategy.

Reinforce the Strategy team as rooted in cultural insights and big ideas, ensuring a consistent Zenith strategy product.

Collaborate with Planning and Business teams to champion imagination / innovation, and combines data with creative and instinctive application of channels, platforms and formats to bring your strategy to life

Mentor Strategy Directors, Managers, and Executives, fostering professional growth and strategic capability.

Foster proactive collaboration with external media partners and creative agencies to deliver integrated client solutions that are best in class from ideation to activation

Operates as Power of One model globally and locally, Collaborate with external agencies as well as internal Publicis agencies and Zenith Global teams to deliver one holistic Communications plans
What You’ll Bring:
-
Proven experience operating at a Senior Strategy Director or Strategy Lead level, ideally within a media agency, or media publisher, where the remit went beyond individual briefs to owning strategic standards

A strong track record of leading strategy across multiple clients, including complex or high investment accounts. Experience leading global or regional client accounts is preferred

Confidence setting strategic direction, challenging thinking and elevating the work of other Strategists.

Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate data and insights into clear, actionable plans.

Experience developing and governing planning frameworks, playbooks or ways of working across teams or markets, balancing strategic direction with local market flexibility and consistency at scale.

Understanding and ability to utilise the ‘CX suite’ including CX Tracker, Touchpoints, CX Tool plus client ‘data hubs’ where available.

Utilise traditional (e.g. Roy Morgan, Nielsen CMV, GWI, AQX) and new (e.g. Buz.AI, Pulsar, Reddit Intelligence) tools effectively to supplement this research.

Create robust, tightly argued, seamless, communications proposals – from a brief to proposed executions.

Use of insights to generate inspiring, connections platforms and media executions.

Extract genuine, but relevant insights (i.e. consumer, cultural, category, and media) from multiple, complex data sources and then articulating that insight in a provocative, engaging way.
