Your key responsibilities
Provide advice in all matters relating to employee and industrial relations, workforce planning and people management initiatives.
Partner with the FSQ leadership team to provide support and consultation that supports the resolution of complex people and employment matters.
Provide information and advice on the interpretation and application of legislation, awards, agreements, policies and other documents surrounding employment.
Conduct consultation with industrial organisations regarding organisation change and employment matters.
Oversee case management of workplace ill-health, investigations, discipline, unsatisfactory performance, and employee grievance matters.
Build organisational and leadership capabilities across the agency, including the delivery of corporate training.
Plan, design and deliver strategic HR projects and initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness and workplace culture.
Develop and manage key relationships with stakeholders, both internally, externally and across the sector.
Draft complex briefing material, correspondence, submissions and reports on issues related to employee and industrial relations matters within FSQ.
Lead and manage a small team of HR professionals and contribute to the leadership of FSQ.
Lead change management and influence decision making to achieve innovative business practice.
