We are seeking a Specialist Learning Support Teacher for our welcoming Melton Campus on a full time, permanent basis, commencing ASAP.
The Learning Support Specialist Teacher plays a pivotal role in coordinating and enhancing support for students with diverse learning needs across the campus. While the position includes a teaching load, its primary focus is to build the capacity of classroom teachers by providing guidance, coaching, and professional support in curriculum adjustment, differentiation, inclusive teaching practices, and evidence-based interventions.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and allied health professionals to ensure students can access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. They will lead the development of inclusive practices, support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and help foster a whole-school approach to supporting diverse learners.
The Campus
The OneSchool Global Melton Campus is Victoria’s largest site, housed in a state-of-the-art facility at the heart of High Street, Melton. Catering not only to local students, but to students from nearby Ballarat, Geelong, Melbourne, Sunbury and Werribee, the Melton Campus comprises learning spaces for both Primary and Secondary and currently has 225 students attending onsite.

About You
The successful candidate must be a VIT-registered teacher with a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus, and be willing to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or similar adult education qualification would be advantageous, as the role involves significant staff training and professional learning, however it is not essential.
