Fitter and Turner
Multiquip Poultry is a national leader in Australia's poultry industry, specialising in feed transportation and farm operations. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our dedicated team.
We are looking for an experienced Fitter and Turner to join our Engineering Department at Austral NSW to fit, assemble, grind and shape metal parts and subassemblies.
Must have at least 2 years’ experience using a manual lathe, drilling, and milling machines. CNC lathe experience will be an advantage.
You and Role:
- Fitter and Turner with a minimum of 2 years’ experience (On-the-job experience ok)
- Operating manual lathe, milling, and drilling machines
- Read, interpret, and follow technical drawings and blueprints.
- Precision measurement/checking parts for accuracy
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards, specifications, and work instructions.
- Comply with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery and equipment as required.
- Good focus on quality assurance
- Motivated, hardworking and reliable
- Be able to work unsupervised
