Details: An exciting opportunity to contribute to the Office of International Engagement through the position of Business Support Officer has become available. This position will contribute by providing high-level administrative and office services including by not limited to ministerial brief and other correspondence, financial management, secretariat support, assisting in the implementation of high quality, evidence-based programs to deliver on the ACT Government's objective of promoting Canberra as a place to invest, do business, visit and study as detailed in Canberra's International Engagement Strategy.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Experience in high level administrative support or coordination roles, including managing sensitive and classified information is highly desirable.

A qualification (or a willingness to undertake) in public administration, business administration or a related subject is highly desirable.
Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Please note, this position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
