About KFC
The story of Kentucky Fried Chicken began in the 1930s with Colonel Harland Sanders, who created his iconic fried chicken recipe using a secret blend of 11 herbs and spices. What started as a small roadside restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky, quickly grew into one of the world’s most recognised fast-food brands after the opening of the first franchise in 1952.
Today, KFC operates in more than 125 countries, serving over 12 million customers every day. We take pride in our rich history, commitment to quality, and delivering the finger-lickin’ good experience our customers know and love.
