We are a growing Australian engineering and construction business with experience in delivering complex building, infrastructure, and development projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of construction projects from planning through to completion. We are offering $120K to $150K PLUS SUPER
To apply you need to;
- Have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Building, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Have demonstrated 3 years as a Construction Project Manager or similar
- Have vast experience with Civil Infrastructure Projects
- Have experience with quality control and health and safety matters for construction teams
- Have a strong understanding of Australian construction regulations, WHS requirements and quality standards
- You will be required to;
- Plan, coordinate and manage construction projects from inception through to completion
- Develop project schedules, budgets, resource plans and procurement strategies to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress and performance against timelines, budgets and quality standards
- Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to achieve project objectives
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts and technical documentation
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and variations, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with building codes, Australian Standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and relevant legislation
- Conduct site inspections and project meetings to monitor progress and resolve construction-related issues
- Prepare and present project reports, forecasts and updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts and manage contractual obligations, claims and project variations
- Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure construction works meet required standards and client expectations
- Manage project costs, approve expenditures and monitor financial performance to ensure projects are delivered within budget
- Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities
- Lead and mentor project teams, promoting a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Coordinate project handovers, defect rectification and final completion activities
