About the Roles
Sous Chef
As Sous Chef, you'll work alongside the Head Chef to lead the kitchen team, drive exceptional food standards and support the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. You'll mentor and develop chefs, assist with menu creation, manage food costs and labour, and help deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Chef de Partie
As Chef de Partie, you'll take ownership of your section, delivering consistently high-quality dishes while supporting the senior kitchen team during busy services. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a creative and supportive environment.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking chefs who have:
Experience as a Sous Chef, Chef de Partie or strong Junior Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or premium hospitality venue
A passion for delivering exceptional food and guest experiences
Strong leadership skills (Sous Chef) or the ambition to grow into leadership (Chef de Partie)
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
A solid understanding of food safety, quality and kitchen operations
Experience with Japanese or Asian-inspired cuisine is highly regarded, but not essential—we're looking for chefs with the right attitude and willingness to learn
Relevant commercial cookery qualifications and full Australian working rights
