About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to assist with managing and monitoring the completion of projects to ensure budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved.

Duties include:

Assisting with preparation of schedules, cost estimates, and project baselines
Skilled in schedule control, and cost control by utilising Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques
Liaising with clients and suppliers
Coordination of various activities
Assisting with the procurement management by providing the required standards and specifications for the manufacturers and the suppliers
Monitoring and reporting on project progress against timelines and budget
Providing guidance on the project risks and opportunities
Supervising the fabrication process
Coordinate the preparation of documentation as required including the Quality Plan, Safety Plan, Environmental Plan, Inspection & Test Plan etc
Attend Risk Assessment meetings, HAZOPs, Failure Mode Effect Analysis(FEMA), Safety Integrity Level (SIL) etc
Assisting with Factory assembly, testing, and commissioning across Australia and New Zealand
Occasional site visits across Australia and New Zealand

About you

Degree in Project Management or Engineering
Experience in bespoke project management software packages
Experience with construction works supervision, relevant Australian and New Zealand regulations, and standards
Able to prioritise tasks and meet set deadlines
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills
Available to travel across Australia and New Zealand
