About the role:

This role supports the delivery of structural reform and system collaboration and integration for the mental health and wellbeing system. The role does this by providing considered advice, supporting the delivery of projects and policy advice and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have good communication skills and be experienced in providing advice and delivering projects in a complex environment.
The System Reform and Collaboration team is responsible for driving mental health and wellbeing integration and system improvements through Local Health Service Networks and regional collaboration. The team works in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver its work program and provide strategic, evidence-based advice on system reform and collaboration.

About you:

Support the delivery of team responsibilities as directed

Contributes to the development and provision of advice, analysis and sound policy recommendations to senior management and government.

Develops and implements systems and procedures to guide work and track progress

Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.

Draft and develop material including the preparation of Cabinet and Cabinet related material, Ministerial and Secretary briefings and meeting papers, agendas, minutes and reports.
Qualification/Specialist Expertise

A tertiary qualification in fields related to public health, public policy or health administration would be desirable.

Knowledge and experience in government, health systems and/or health service delivery would be desirable.
