Synergie is seeking a Part Time Freight Handler for the logistics industry located in Cairns.
The important parts:
- Immediate start.
- Part time position available - 6am - 10am Monday to Friday -
- Part-time = $32.83 or Casual rate = $40.53 (possible opportunity for more hours - penalty rates will apply if working weekends & outside of normal hours)
- Location: Cairns Airport
What you will be required to do:
- Driving and working airside and in the shed at Cairns Airport sorting freight, collecting freight from aircraft (this is not a baggage handling role)
- Loading and unloading freighters as part of a team.
- Delivery driving animals and urgent freight in the Cairns and North Qld area as required.
To be successful in the role you must:
- Forklift ticket and driver's licence
- Must undergo a drug and alcohol test and security background checks for an Aviation ASIC Pass
- Have Permanent Residency status as this is a Permanent role.
This role would suit someone looking for part time hours (student or semi retired person) - with possible opportunity for more hours in busy periods.
