The Role
We are seeking experienced professionals across the Elastic ecosystem, spanning Elasticsearch, Elastic Observability, and Elastic Security. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and support of scalable data solutions that enable powerful search capabilities, operational visibility, and security monitoring within complex enterprise & government environments.
You will work closely with engineering, platform, and security teams to deliver flexible, high performing solutions that support a range of use cases including search optimisation, system monitoring, and threat detection, while ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions using the Elastic stack.
- Develop and optimise data ingestion, indexing, and search capabilities.
- Build observability solutions including logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Support security use cases such as monitoring, alerting, and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
- Monitor and optimise performance of Elastic clusters and pipelines.
- Develop dashboards and visualisations for insights and reporting.
- Troubleshoot issues across distributed systems and data platforms.
- Work within Agile teams to deliver reliable, scalable outcomes.
- Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- Experience working with Elastic technologies or similar platforms.
- Understanding of search, observability, or security concepts.
- Exposure to distributed systems and data processing pipelines.
- Experience working in cloud or enterprise environments.
- Ability to work within Agile or fast paced delivery teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Exposure to scripting, automation, or integration tools is beneficial.
- Experience in regulated or large-scale environments is advantageous.
