Position Scope
- Assist qualified technicians with scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles under supervision, performing tasks within your current competency level
- Learn to use workshop tools, equipment, and Mercedes-Benz diagnostic systems progressively as your skills develop
- Complete vehicle inspection reports accurately and thoroughly under the guidance of your supervising technician
- Photograph all significant findings and existing vehicle damage, recording them in Triage and on the repair order as directed
- Maintain your workshop bay in a clean, safe, and organised condition at all times
- Complete all on-the-job and off-the-job training requirements for your Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Actively engage with every learning opportunity — ask questions, pay attention, and take ownership of your own progress

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Experience
- A genuine passion for cars and a desire to build a long-term career in the automotive industry
- Currently eligible to commence a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- A hardworking, curious, and coachable attitude — we will teach you everything else
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from experienced technicians
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a professional approach from day one
- Valid driver’s licence (or working towards one)
- No prior experience required — just the right attitude and a commitment to your trade
