About the role
Provide high-level administrative, executive, and project support to the Surgery Stream within Metro North Health. This role acts as a key coordination point for the Stream, ensuring effective communication, efficient administrative operations, and the delivery of professional support services that assist the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.
You will work closely with the Nursing Director and Executive Director, coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, preparing reports and briefing materials, and supporting a range of projects and programs. The role requires strong organisational skills, sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

Provide high-level administrative, executive, and secretariat support to the Surgery Stream
Coordinate meetings, correspondence, records management, and stakeholder communications
Support project delivery through monitoring, reporting, and administrative coordination
Research, prepare, and coordinate reports, briefings, submissions, and responses to enquiries
Build effective relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
