Club Marconi is known as the sports and entertainment hub for the local area in Western Sydney (Bossley Park). The club has over 55,000 members and brings a multitude of cultures together under the one roof. We offer a large gaming installation of around 380 EGMs along with TAB and Keno. We are currently requesting expressions of interest for an enthusiastic Full Time Customer Relations Manager also known as a Duty Manager to lead operations. To succeed in the role, you will need to be customer focused, be observant, and display a genuine willingness to progress within Club Marconi! Must be available to work a rotating 24/7 roster including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Current RSA & RCG competency card.
Expectations:
- To work as a valued team member and to assist other team members to provide service excellence to everyone utilizing Club Marconi facilities and operations.
- To assist with the profitable utilisation of employment labour across the Club aligned to financial performance and key performance indicators
- To ensure that work health and safety standards, legislation and regulations are maintained for the benefit of employees, contractors, suppliers, sponsors, members, and guests.
- To provide administrative, operations (resources, suppliers, contractors etc.) and people management support, to achieve desired profit margins.
Must have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supervision of staff;
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a staff team;
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced business setting;
- Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress, and crisis situations;
- Effective problem solving and mediation skills;
- Proficiency with office equipment and software;
- Certificate IV in Hospitality Management.
- Confidence with self-motivating and reliable attitude,
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness when accomplishing tasks,
- Excellent computer skills and accurate report writing (ESSENTIAL),
- Effective communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal,
- Ability to make decisions and establish priority workloads,
- Outstanding people skills with an extremely strong focus on customer service,
- Ability to demonstrate management qualities in training and motivating a team,
- A can-do attitude with an ability to actively look for solutions to resolve customer complaints,
