As a Principle Strategic Advisor you will focus on strategic leadership to build an integrated, collaborative and connected service system both across the region and more broadly across the state. You will be instrumental in providing expert advice to ensure the implementation of Government reforms, FVRIC strategic priorities as well as ensuring responses to family violence align with Uniting’s Vision and Mission.
As an auspiced position, your role has significant independence of action whilst also ensuring responses to family violence align with Uniting’s Vision and Mission and guidelines provided by the IFV Regional Integration Committee and are delivered within the policy framework determined by the funding body.

You will have relevant Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related tertiary qualification relevant to the role.
You will also have:
- A current Victorian Driver’s License
- Detailed knowledge of the Family Violence Reforms, current Family Violence System and Family Violence Policy.
- Detailed knowledge of the MARAM framework and Family Violence and Child Information Sharing Schemes
- Demonstrated ability, in the provision of advice and consulting expertise with a diverse range of senior stakeholders in the community and government sectors.
- Solid understanding of working with marginalised groups including Indigenous and CALD clients
