Metso is seeking a skilled Reliability Technician to support condition monitoring and asset integrity across heavy industrial and mining operations. If you enjoy hands-on diagnostics, fault-finding and working across diverse sites, this is a great opportunity to build your career with an industry leader.
What you'll do:
Perform NDT inspections and condition monitoring activities
Identify faults, analyse failure modes and recommend solutions
Interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
Deliver clear and accurate technical reports
Maintain strong safety and risk management practices
Travel to sites and work remotely as required
What you'll bring:
Level 2 MT (mag particle) and Level 1 UT (UT thickness) required.
Level 2 ET (Eddy Current), IR CAT1 (Thermography), mechanical quals highly regarded
Exposure to processing plant, specifically horizontal mills will be highly regarded.
Heavy industrial or mine site experience is essential.
Knowledge of mill and/or kiln gearing and failure modes desirable.
Aptitude for fault-finding and natural attention to detail is essential.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and report writing skills are essential.
Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office – Word and Excel.
Hold current or be able to obtain Work at Heights (WAH) and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) qualifications.
Must have current motor vehicle license, be physically fit and pass company medical.
Satisfy various client site access requirements (inductions and drug tests).
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Competency in all aspects of risk management and safety compliance.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally within short notice.
