About the Role
Due to continued growth, Contract Resources is seeking a commercially minded and proactive professional to support contract management activities across the business. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in supporting commercial and contractual processes, helping to manage risk, maintain compliance, and support key stakeholder relationships.
Duties will include but not limited to
- Support the management of contracts throughout their lifecycle, from tender submission and negotiation through to close-out, renewal, and extension.
- Assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of contractual documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company requirements.
- Monitor contractual obligations and compliance requirements, identifying and escalating risks or issues as required.
- Maintain contract records, registers, and databases, ensuring documentation is current, secure, and readily accessible.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support contractual obligations, compliance requirements, and project deliverables.
- Provide commercial and contractual support to operational teams, including guidance on contract terms, governance, and compliance matters.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Legal, and HSEQ to support successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and process reviews to strengthen commercial and contract management practices.
Requirements & Experience Needed
- Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
- Experience in the preparation, review, negotiation, and management of projects/tenders/contracts
- Strong written communication and drafting skills, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate contractual documents
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the business
- Knowledge of contractual frameworks and commercial risk principles
- Background within the Oil & Gas industry, or a similar industry with transferable skills
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Intermediate/Advanced in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
