Our family-focused practice is seeking a dedicated, caring dental hygienist/ therapist to join our small and friendly dental team. The role is part-time one or two days per week, with a permanent arrangement being offered to a suitable candidate.
Our ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and can build a good rapport with our valued patients, including children. A high level of infection control is expected, as well as maintenance of detailed treatment records. A high level of professionalism is a must, including a committed, reliable personality.
Duties:
- Work in close association with the dentists, providing supportive dental care to patients.
- Dental hygiene therapy and prophylaxis, including thorough periodontal charting and assessment of the periodontal condition.
- Oral hygiene education of adult and children
- Preventative fluoride treatment and fissure sealants
- Work in close association with the dentist, providing supportive dental care to patients.
- Taking X-rays and using the intra-oral scanner.
Criteria:
You must have current qualifications and AHPRA registration in Bachelor of Oral Health and Therapy (BOHT) or Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) registered in Australia. Experience in the field is highly regarded.
Days required:
Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays.
