Ipswich West Special School is a specialist school currently providing educational programs for students from Prep to Year 12 with diverse learning needs.
As part of its future-focused direction, the school is transitioning to become a dedicated secondary special school, strengthening its focus on supporting students through their adolescent years and preparing them for successful post-school pathways.

Experience and Knowledge:
Demonstrated knowledge of QCIA/QCAA requirements, Australian Curriculum v9.0, contemporary pedagogies, differentiated teaching strategies, senior schooling pathways, transition planning, post-school options, work experience programs and PATH planning.
Experience working in a special school setting would be highly desirable, but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead behaviour support initiatives and contribute to the school's priority focus on improving reading outcomes.
Work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders to drive positive change and improve student outcomes.
Effectively manage competing priorities and meet established timelines.
