We are now seeking a Field Service Technician who wants to evolve with the industry.
About the Role
You’ll repair and maintain printers and photocopiers hardware - this will be 60-70% of your role.
But the modern technician must also understand:
- Software
- Drivers
- Networks
- Remote diagnostics
- Automation systems
- Client workflows
- Deployment and setup of connected technology

We want someone who investigates, learns, takes control, and sees the job through to a successful outcome for the client.

- Lexmark / Xerox
- HP Inc.
- 3CX Phone Systems
- CommBox or BenQ Interactive Displays
Exposure to any printer/photocopier experience is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Field Service & Repairs
- Diagnose and repair printers / photocopiers onsite
- Replace parts and carry out preventative maintenance
- Resolve faults efficiently and professionally
- Manage your run sheet and complete jobs thoroughly
Installations & Deployments
- Deliver and install photocopiers/printers.
- Configure print drivers and scan destinations
- Network connectivity setup
- Ensure smooth handover and client training
Software & Remote Support
- Use remote tools to diagnose and resolve issues
- Work with fleet monitoring platforms
- Configure backend settings and user environments
- Support automation workflows and smarter print systems
3CX Phone Systems
- Learn and become responsible for setup, deployment, configuration and support of 3CX systems
- Assist clients with onboarding and technical support
- Grow into a key technical contact for this area of the business
Interactive Displays & Smart Technology
- Install and support CommBox and BenQ interactive displays
- Assist clients with setup, connectivity and user training
- Support broader office technology solutions as required
Client Ownership
- Take ownership of client issues from start to finish
- Communicate proactively with clients throughout the process
- Find answers and solutions rather than waiting for direction
- Deliver an exceptional service experience
Experience & Qualifications
We are seeking someone with:
- Experience as a printer / photocopier technician or similar field service role
- Strong hands-on repair knowledge of printers / MFDs
- Experience with Lexmark, Xerox, HP or equivalent brands
- Understanding of drivers, print queues, scan setup, and networking basics
- Comfortable using laptops, software tools, portals, and remote support systems
- Strong fault-finding ability across hardware and software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Current driver’s licence
- Reliable, organised, and professional presentation
Highly regarded:
- Managed Print Services experience
- Fleet management / monitoring software experience
- Basic networking knowledge
- Exposure to VoIP systems / 3CX / IT systems
- Interactive display experience
