The Role
We’re currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and at least two full years of nursing experience.
The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
Our Location
Orana Youth Justice Centre is a juvenile detention facility located in Dubbo, Central West NSW, approximately 380km northwest of Sydney. It primarily accommodates up to 30 young males aged between 10-21 years old.
Dubbo is a thriving regional city situated in the junction of the Newell, Mitchell and Golden highways, it acts as a central gateway for travelers crossing the Great Western Plains. Famous for blending authentic outback charm with modern city conveniences, it is a major economic, transport and tourist hub renowned for its open-range zoo and rich colonial history. The city serves as the central hub relying heavily on agriculture, mining services, renewable energy projects and tourism.
