As an IP Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IP networks within the telecom domain. You’ll ensure secure, stable, and high-performing infrastructure by configuring network devices, troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet technical requirements.
You will play a key role in:
- Planning, designing, and deploying IP networks in the telecom domain.
- Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Implementing and maintaining network security policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and network access control (NAC).
- Troubleshooting network problems, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to ensure network stability and performance.
- Documenting network configurations, procedures, and policies, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for network configurations, procedures, and policies, aligned with industry standards.
- Strong understanding of IP protocols (including OSPF, BGP), networking concept and technologies.
- Tracking performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing configurations.
- Conducting regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching to enhance system stability and security.
- Implementing safeguards to protect infrastructure and data from unauthorized access.
- Represent Capgemini to the client and provide technical leadership to remaining Network engineers on the client engagement
