About us:
Redland Residential Care (RRC) comprises four separate units co-located on the Redland Hospital site at Cleveland. All units may house permanent residents who can also be participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Acacia Court accommodates residents with a diagnosis of dementia or other forms of cognitive impairment who have difficulty with placement at other residential aged care facilities or have had failed admission; and have been readmitted to a Metro South Hospital. Acacia residents are within the criteria of a tier 5 to 6 of the Brodarty Draper triangle.
The unit provides a multidisciplinary approach to care delivery with a focus on resident's rights and choices. Residents' relatives, carers and other health professionals are involved in the individual care planning process and encouraged to play an active role in the decision-making process.
