Reporting to the Sales Director and, as required, the Technical Manager, the successful applicant will take responsibility for all aspects of client network architecture and systems environments — including implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
Responsibilities of our Computer Network and Systems Engineer will include:

· Test, deploy and analyse the operational effectiveness of networks and services, and resolve network faults as they arise.
· Contribute to the technical design of network infrastructures and collaborate in pre-sales activities.
· Deploy network solutions in accordance with agreed design plans and the strict change management practices of the customer.
· Monitor network operations and performance to ensure optimal levels of speed, reliability and security at all times, and identify opportunities to improve network efficiency.
· Maintain and administer computer networks and related environments, including systems software, applications software, hardware and configurations.
· Perform disaster recovery operations and data back-ups when required, and protect data, software and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
· Provide level two support, applying specialist technical expertise to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software and other network and system problems.
· Maintain logs of repairs and technical documentation in line with company procedures.
· Work as part of an integrated team specialising in cloud services, data analytics and managed services, ensuring all work is completed to a high technical standard.
· Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure reliable and efficient network services, and provide networking, security and technology assistance to internal staff as required.
· Assist in training other staff as required, and ensure all tasks are carried out in adherence to OHS requirements and in a manner that contributes to a positive organisational environment.
To be successfully considered for the role, you:
· Hold a recognised bachelor's degree (or higher qualification) in a relevant discipline.
