A hands-on factory role for someone who takes pride in keeping a workplace clean, organised and running smoothly.
Franklyn Blinds, Awnings & Security is looking for a reliable Factory Cleaner / Production Assistant to join our Rochedale manufacturing team.
This is not a typical cleaning job. You will be an important part of our factory operations, helping maintain a safe and efficient workplace while supporting our production team when required.
There are no toilets, no public areas and no commercial cleaning. This is a practical, hands-on factory role.
What you’ll be doing
- Keeping factory floors and production areas clean and organised
- Sweeping floors and maintaining general factory presentation
- Emptying bins and removing production waste
- Disposing of returned products from installation teams
- Assisting with container unloads when required
- Moving and organising materials around the factory
- Supporting the production team with general factory tasks
- Helping maintain a safe and efficient workplace
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone reliable who takes ownership and pride in their work.
You will need:
- Strong reliability and attendance
- Good work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Ability to follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (essential)
- Ability to reliably commute to Rochedale every day
Previous factory, warehouse, labouring or industrial experience is highly regarded but not essential.

- Opportunity to move into permanent full-time employment after 3–6 months based on performance
- Monday to Friday day shift
