Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of light vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake servicing, suspension repairs, and engine diagnostics.
- Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical faults accurately.
- Carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
Essential Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.
- Current driver's licence (manual preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience servicing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Desirable
- Experience using diagnostic scan tools.
- Air-conditioning licence (ARCtick) or willingness to obtain.
- Roadworthy inspection licence (where applicable).
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles.
Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
