About the opportunity
The Senior Clinician will work as a part of our clinical services program, in the Pathways to Safer Relationships program as well as our counselling program.
In the Pathways to Safer Relationships, the clinician will provide therapeutic assessment, engagement, intervention, safety planning and care team coordination for boys and young men aged 12–25 whose use of violence in intimate or family relationships is emerging.
The role requires a clinician who can hold both therapeutic support and accountability-focused service provisions. The clinician will work in ways that are developmentally appropriate, culturally secure, relational, trauma-informed and violence-informed, while actively considering the safety and wellbeing of women, children, partners, family members and others connected to the young person.
The Senior Clinician will deliver individual therapeutic sessions, structured group-based programs where safe and appropriate, family-inclusive or relational work, secondary consultation, and coordinated care team responses. The role will also contribute to local system capability, Community of Practice activities, program evaluation and reporting requirements.
