About the Opportunity
Join our Aged Care team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-informed physiotherapy services that improve the health, wellbeing and independence of older people across the Central Coast. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll use your advanced clinical expertise to support patients, mentor colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of innovative, person-centred services.
In this role you will:
- Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, treatment and care planning for patients with complex clinical needs across aged care services.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families and community providers to deliver coordinated, person-centred care.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students, supporting capability development across the team.
- Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, service planning and evaluation to enhance clinical outcomes and service delivery.
- Apply evidence-informed practice, advanced clinical reasoning and independent decision-making while managing a varied and complex caseload.

About You
You are an experienced and motivated physiotherapist with a passion for delivering high-quality care to older people. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy mentoring others and are committed to evidence-informed practice, continuous improvement and achieving the best outcomes for patients.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with demonstrated advanced clinical experience in aged care and/or a relevant area of physiotherapy practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision, education and support to physiotherapists, allied health assistants and students.
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a complex workload, prioritise competing demands and work both independently and collaboratively.
- A commitment to evidence-informed practice, ongoing professional development and leading quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and service delivery.
