Position: Kitchen Hand & Sushi Maker
Location: Sushi Sushi Delacombe (opening soon)
We are looking for two reliable team members to join our new‑opening busy sushi store in Delacombe.
1 x Sushi Maker
1 x Kitchen Hand
Sushi Maker
‑ Prepare fresh sushi, sashimi and Japanese food items following store recipes and standards
‑ Maintain clean and tidy work station
‑ Comply with food safety and hygiene requirements
‑ Assist with customer service during peak trading hours
‑ Previous sushi‑making experience is required
Kitchen Hand
‑ General kitchen duties including dish washing, basic food preparation, cleaning kitchen and service areas
‑ Stock rotation, waste disposal and maintain high hygiene standards
‑ Support sushi makers and front‑of‑house team during busy shifts
‑ Prior hospitality experience is not required, a willingness to learn is essential
Requirements for both roles
‑ Must be available to work weekends and public holidays (roster includes Saturday / Sunday)
‑ Able to work in a fast‑paced busy environment
‑ Good personal hygiene
‑ Valid Australian work rights (Visa / PR / Australian Citizenship)
‑ Reliable, punctual and a good team player
