Qualified Hospitality and Retail Manager at McDonald's
McDonald's in Dubbo, NSW 2830, is a 24-hour fast-food restaurant offering a variety of burgers, chicken, wraps, and breakfast items. We serve both dine-in and drive-thru customers, providing modern amenities for a comfortable experience.
We are looking for a full-time Hospitality and Retail Manager to join our team. In this role, you will have a strategic approach to overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and optimizing performance.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Any Field
- Must be fully qualified by McDonald’s Australia with a certificate in SMX or LTS.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience required
- Passionate about your work.
- Must be Trustworthy.
- Must be able to work in rotating roster
- Ability to work well within fast- paced environment.
Duties you will perform:
- Plan menus in consultation with chefs, ensuring variety and quality while adhering to budget constraints
- Organize and manage special functions, promotions, and corporate events, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with operational goals
- Oversee the purchasing, pricing, and inventory management of goods, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, financial transactions, and operational costs
- Ensure dining facilities comply with health regulations and maintain a clean, functional, and visually appealing environment
- Regularly confer with customers to assess satisfaction with meals, service, and overall experience
- Select, train, supervise, and provide feedback to kitchen and waiting staff to ensure high standards of service and efficiency
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotions to drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and attract new customers
- Manage staff schedules in line with operational needs and business demands
- Oversee budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting for food, labour, and operational expenses, analysing profit and loss statements and taking corrective actions as needed
- Foster a positive team culture, promoting staff engagement, motivation, and professional development
- Ensure timely and effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to maintain strong working relationships and streamline operations
- Lead by example in maintaining operational efficiency, high service standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience
Compensation and benefits:
- Salary of $70,000 - $80,000
