About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a company where you will play a key role in supporting the business by providing timely financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to assist management in making informed commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyse financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
- Develop financial models to assist with business planning.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management dashboards.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
- Work closely with operational managers to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain financial records in accordance with company policies.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA or CA qualification or equivalent is essential
- Relevant experience in a similar role within the local industry.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems capability (MYOB Exo experience advantageous)
