Job Summary
Bundoora Physiotherapy Clinic is seeking a reliable, capable and personable Practice Manager / Senior Receptionist to join our busy clinic team.
This is a hands-on role that combines front desk reception with the day-to-day administration and coordination of the clinic. We are looking for someone who brings warmth, professionalism, initiative and strong organisational skills, and who takes pride in helping a clinic run smoothly and efficiently.
This position would suit someone with previous experience in medical or allied health reception and/or practice management, or someone with closely related transferable skills gained in a professional customer service, administration, office management or healthcare setting.
The role is part-time, working 3 days per week, with 6-hour shifts. Some flexibility to assist with leave cover or occasional additional hours when needed would be highly regarded.

Experience
Previous experience in medical reception, allied health reception, practice administration or practice management would be highly regarded.
We are also open to applicants who may not have worked in a clinic before, but who can demonstrate strong transferable skills from roles involving administration, customer service, scheduling, team support, office coordination, or business operations.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with maturity, professionalism, good judgement, initiative and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients and creating a welcoming first impression
- Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries
- Booking and managing patient appointments
- Invoicing and receipting
- EFTPOS and HICAPS processing (training can be provided)
- General clerical and administrative duties
- Assisting with the day-to-day running and coordination of the clinic
- General housekeeping duties to help maintain a clean and professional clinic environment
- Supporting business promotion and the presentation of the clinic
- Assisting with systems, processes and administrative efficiency across the practice
