About the role:
We are looking for a male support worker to assist our client every Monday to Thursday from 11am to 1.00pm, in personal care and community support.
What we’re looking for:
- 1-2 years’ relevant experience (desirable).
- Experience with schizophrenia (desirable).
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong people skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Travel to our client's home to provide personal care and community support.
- Use fluent English to communicate effectively with our client, his family, and the care team, and to report any changes in a client’s health or well-being.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe living environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks, including making beds and cleaning rooms.
- Adapting care plans to address the unique requirements of each client.
Certificates & Licences:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or Nursing qualifications.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance, or a willingness to obtain one.
- A valid Victorian Driver Licence.
- Mandatory vaccination health orders apply to this industry.
