Versatile Group is seeking **3 reliable and experienced Steel Fixers** to join our team across **metro area projects**. As a company specialising in **formwork, steel fixing, and concreting**, we are looking for hardworking team members who take pride in delivering quality work while maintaining a safe and professional site environment.
### Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret structural drawings and reinforcing schedules
- Cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel to project specifications
- Assemble and install reo cages, mesh, and reinforcing bars
- Fix steel for slabs, footings, columns, beams, and walls
- Ensure reinforcement is correctly placed, spaced, and secured prior to concrete pours
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite at all times
### Requirements
- Previous experience in steel fixing within commercial or residential construction
- Ability to read and interpret plans and reinforcing details
- Strong understanding of steel fixing methods and site procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- White Card required
- Relevant tickets and licences highly regarded
- Availability to work across metro area sites
Pay: $26.97 – $38.93 per hour
